The Highway gene has now been confirmed to be closely related to both Sable and Cappuccino. All three are part of the same genetic group, meaning they’re different versions (alleles) of the same gene. Highway is considered the third known variation in this group. One of its most unique traits is that it tends to reduce or "erase" pattern as the gecko matures — often creating cleaner, more minimal looks in projects like pixels or empty backs.
